will i see any progress using machines instead of free weights
i'm some what new to the gym and l use machines l know free weights are the
better choice as far as strangth building goes. but if l only used machines
will l see any increase in muscle mass using only machines? or will it not
even be noticeable and am l just wasting my time becuase l wo not get any
buffer or stronger? i do heavy 8-10 reps, 4 sets.
The machines still work, its just that the free weights work
better.
The machines are great for beginners, as you build muscle memory.
As you get used to the lifts, try to do 3 sets with a machine and one with
free weights, and gradually do more with free weights. Just note that you will most likely be doing a good bit less weight with free weights, but it will still work, you should still feel it.
